You are Important!You Matter!

As I am writing this, we are on Day 8 of the war in Ukraine. I would be remiss to not acknowledge the impact that this and the pandemic are having on our lives.

So how are you doing? Are you feeling weighted down by 24/7 bad news? Or perhaps you are able to numb out and continue on with your normal routine. Or best case scenario, you are able to keep it all in perspective, do what you can and still live your life.

For the better part of my life, my M.O. has been to numb out to war or a crisis in the world, by telling myself, “It’s THOSE people…THAT dictator…THAT country.” I could settle into believing that it had nothing to do with me and I could dismiss myself from my role in world peace. Nothing could be further from the truth. I now know without a doubt that we are ALL connected and what is happening to one is happening to the whole.

A word from Caroline Myss…“Consider the mystical law: All is One. All life breathes together. As difficult as it is to imagine - and it is difficult - our personal actions in some energetic way contribute to the collective energies of the whole of life. We may think we live separate lives but that is a great illusion. If the pandemic did nothing else, it brought into our awareness how interconnected all of us are. The energy that generates wars arises from the same cosmic or mystical truth that we are interconnected. But consider the power inherent in that truth - every prayer you say makes a difference to the whole, even though we can never see the consequences of a prayer. Nor can we see the consequences of a smile and yet we know how good we feel when someone looks kindly upon us. So, how do we respond to this war? By realizing this war, while being fought in Ukraine, involves the whole planetary community.

And so it is! We are all connected, the only thing that separates us is the “thought” that we are separate…..separate from the Divine and separate from each other. And that’s impossible. It is a Universal Truth that we are all one, an extension of Divine Love.

So my friends, let’s not negate the power of prayer. Whatever thought, whatever energy I put out into Universe matters. When I pray….When WE pray it can literally change the trajectory and the outcome of any situation. When we unite in prayer the Force of our Oneness is powerful. Love wins.
